City Revival University is recognized by the Texas State Legislature as an incorporated entity of higher learning with the authority to confer academic degrees.

City Revival University’s mission and vision are to reach the world with the power of Christian education, teaching, training, and equipping leaders, missionaries, evangelists, ministers, and influential Christian voices to meet the needs of today’s world. We specialize in serving every student who desires to fulfill their call to the Lord with the same Christian theology and equipping that Christ gave to His disciples and that the disciples passed on to the early Church.

Accreditation is a review process conducted by an external agency to ensure that an institution of higher learning meets standards established by organizations representing the academic community, professionals, and other stakeholders. To maintain accreditation, the institution or program must undergo regular evaluations to confirm ongoing compliance with these standards.

It is important to note that neither the State of Texas nor the U.S. Federal Government accredits institutions of higher learning. All accrediting agencies are private organizations.

The story of accreditation and classical scholarship begins deep within the early Christian world. From the learned doctors and teachers of Antioch to the illustrious catechetical centers of Caesarea and Alexandria, the Church of Christ nurtured an enduring scholarly tradition—one that ultimately shaped the development of modern universities and gave rise to the earliest forms of the doctoral degrees ever conferred.

City Revival University firmly believes that the Church is responsible for preserving the original Faith delivered by the Lord to the first-century apostolic generation and for upholding the highest standards of biblical education. For this reason, we choose accreditation through a nongovernmental body, ensuring that our teaching and training stand upon the foundation of the Church Fathers and the theological writings and convictions of the worldwide Church.

The Christian degrees and credits earned at City Revival University are respected around the world. Many churches, Christian institutions, Bible schools, and ministry organizations regularly accept full or partial credit transfers from City Revival University and recognize and honor the Christian degrees we confer. Additionally, all AICCS member institutions accept credits from other member schools when applicable to their programs.
